I have to say, this reminds me strongly of the Underworld of Nosgoth, when Raziel would shift form the material realm to the dark Spectral realm, which was often warped and twisted, broken or "Forgotten Realm".
Full of oblivion, chaos, sorrow and misery. Uncertainty, and despair, with the intense lights, such as the spectral green, and the demonic red, really complete the setting. As well as the purple light reminding me of the Shadow Reaver of Darkness,
I can see the glowing lights there as the eyes of the Oracle or Elder one, who taunts Raziel, imprisoning the soul in Nosgoth's deep dark underground caves.
If this could be found in a desolate setting, such as a medieval ruin or fortress, or abandoned church and forest, it would be a fine addition, to the "Nosgothian" style of the archytecture and feeling.
This is a rather intresting picture and it's already good, but to make it better I think you should work on it. If's a shame that there is a lot of grain in the picture (either it has to do with your ISO, that it was too high, or the resolution of the picture uploaded here), anyhow. I think it would go better in black and white actually, it would make it more abstract and be a picture that you stop and look at instead of just keep browsing. Try making it black and white, and maybe straighten it a bit so you get a straight "line" through it instead of that rather crooked one. But I think you can develop this to an awesome picture! Keep up the good work.

Superb Work!
